Akon announced the completion of the Akoin card, which will allow shoppers to pay for their purchases directly with their Akoin cryptocurrency in any Master Card-accepting store.
Akon announced the news on his Instagram page.
“It’s Done. The official AKOIN Card!!! Which allows you to now spend your AKOIN (AKN) where ever master card is excepted. Akon is the founder of Akoin, a block chain platform and digital currency. He began developing the cryptocurrency in 2018 and it is one of the singer’s most significant developments in his diverse tech world endeavours.
The cryptocurrency is dedicated to bringing a trusted and interoperable digital currency to African countries where citizens are unable to access financial services due to weak and over-inflated fiat currencies.
