mTek has partnered with BuyRentKenya to enhance the insurance ecosystem in Africa through technology and foster connectivity across the entire system

mTek, a leading digital online insurance platform, has partnered with BuyRentKenya, a real estate platform in Kenya, providing a platform-as-a-service to enhance the insurance ecosystem in Africa through technology and foster connectivity across the entire system.

A pivotal aspect of this partnership is the participation of GA Insurance Kenya as the underwriter for the home insurance products offered through mTek’s platform. Through its Domestic Package Insurance cover, GA Insurance safeguards consumers against losses or damages to their homes, household items, injuries, or fatalities involving home workers, among other risks. The insurance provider brings with it a wealth of experience and expertise in the insurance industry, ensuring that customers receive comprehensive coverage and reliable service.

mTek will harness its innovative Business-to-Customer (B2C) digital online insurance platform, providing an avenue for individuals to access insurance products. With focus on digitization, mTek aims to simplify the insurance process, making it more accessible and efficient for consumers.

BuyRentKenya will leverage its network and expertise in the real estate industry to promote and facilitate the adoption of home insurance solutions offered by mTek. This collaboration will streamline the insurance purchasing process and enhance the overall customer experience.

“We are thrilled to partner with BuyRentKenya to extend our digital insurance platform to more homeowners in Kenya. Our objective is to leverage technology to streamline the insurance process and enhance accessibility. Working with BuyRentKenya, we are dedicated to fostering innovation and digitization in the insurance industry,” said Bente Krogmann, CEO mTek.
