WWDC 2025 Unveils “Liquid Glass” Design and AI-Powered Apple Intelligence Across Devices

At WWDC 2025, Apple revealed sweeping software updates across its entire ecosystem. The standout change is a new “Liquid Glass” design language—arguably the most dramatic visual overhaul since iOS 7—bringing translucent and glossy UI elements to iOS 26, macOS 26 Tahoe, iPadOS 26, visionOS, watchOS 12, and tvOS 26 . Apple emphasized continuity across platforms, introducing refined Spotlight search and fresh windowing features on iPad that transform it into a more capable productivity tool.

But design wasn’t the only star: Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI suite, received major enhancements. Visual intelligence now integrates AI-powered media recognition and smarter messaging tools. Developers got a sneak peek at revamped multitasking on iPad, new audio/video workflow support, and even a gaming app. watchOS 12 will debut a strength workout builder and a “Workout Buddy” feature, while tvOS 26 and visionOS now support immersive widgets and compatibility with PlayStation VR controllers.
