Support is growing from investors too. In 2024 alone, African startups raised over $2 billion. Most of this funding went to fintech, e-commerce, and health tech. International venture capital firms are now watching the continent closely, eager to back the next big idea.
Government programs are helping as well. Some countries offer tax breaks, tech hubs, or startup grants to young innovators. Events like Africa Tech Summit and Gitex Africa are giving more exposure to local talent.
